Position Summary

Powerfleet is seeking a Global Compensation Manager to support the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of compensation programs across our global workforce. This individual contributor role will serve as a key compensation subject matter expert, partnering with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, HR Systems, Payroll, and business leaders to support consistent and informed compensation decisions.

The Global Compensation Manager will contribute to job architecture, market benchmarking, salary administration, incentive compensation, annual compensation cycles, and compensation analytics across multiple countries and currencies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, practical compensation experience, and a collaborative approach to working within a fast-paced, global, and evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities

Global Compensation Programs

Support the administration and ongoing improvement of global base salary, bonus, and incentive compensation programs across Powerfleet regions.

• Analyze compensation programs and practices to help assess market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with organizational needs.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of compensation guidelines, processes, and documentation that promote consistent pay practices globally.

• Serve as a compensation resource to HR colleagues and business partners, providing data, analysis, and guidance to support compensation decisions.

Job Architecture & Market Benchmarking

• Support the ongoing maintenance of Powerfleet's global job architecture, leveling framework, job evaluation practices, and salary structures.

• Conduct job evaluations and market pricing analyses across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC using established compensation survey data and market resources.

• Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation analysis and recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee changes.

• Conduct internal equity reviews and identify potential areas for further evaluation.

• Assist with compensation survey participation and maintain relationships with compensation data and survey providers.

Annual Compensation Programs

• Support the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, bonus calculations, incentive payouts, and long-term incentive administration.

• Partner with Finance, HR, Payroll, and HR Systems to help ensure compensation cycles are accurate, timely, and effectively administered.

• Prepare compensation planning data, models, reports, and supporting materials for HR and business leaders.

• Assist with compensation budgets, scenario modeling, and related financial analysis.

Compensation Analytics & Workforce Planning

• Develop and maintain compensation models that account for country-specific practices, currencies, foreign exchange considerations, and market differences.

• Analyze compensation data, market trends, and workforce information to identify trends and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Support workforce planning, organizational changes, and financial forecasting through compensation analysis and modeling.

• Prepare compensation reports and analyses for HR leadership, business leaders, and other stakeholders.

• Support the preparation of executive and Board-related compensation materials as needed.

Compliance & Pay Practices

• Monitor evolving pay equity, pay transparency, and compensation-related requirements across the countries in which Powerfleet operates.

• Partner with HR and Legal to support compensation practices that align with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Maintain compensation documentation, guidelines, and manager resources to promote consistent and informed pay decisions.

• Support pay equity analyses and other compensation-related compliance initiatives.

HR Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with the HR Systems team to help maintain accurate compensation data within BambooHR and related HR tools.

• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other HR team members to support accurate and effective compensation administration.

• Participate in HR technology enhancements related to compensation planning, reporting, analytics, and employee data.

• Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, reporting, and tools and partner with appropriate stakeholders on implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years of compensation experience, including experience with job evaluation, market pricing, salary administration, and incentive compensation.

• Experience supporting compensation programs across multiple countries and currencies.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience developing compensation models and performing complex data analysis.

• Experience working with compensation benchmarking surveys and market data sources such as Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, or similar providers.

• Working knowledge of compensation practices, pay equity, and pay transparency requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate compensation data into practical insights and recommendations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain compensation concepts to HR partners, managers, and employees.

• Ability to work collaboratively across HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other functions in a global environment.

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential compensation information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a global, matrixed, or post-merger organization.

• Experience with BambooHR or another HRIS used to support compensation administration and reporting.

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or progress toward certification.

• Experience supporting global compensation cycles and working with employees across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.

• Experience preparing compensation analyses or materials for senior leadership.

  The base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$130,000 CAD , with eligibility for additional variable compensation. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location.
