Job Responsibility:
Parallel is a Restaurant and Manufactory of Sesame butter (Tahini) located at the trendy Geary Avenue.
We are looking for an Assistant FOH Manager to join our team! We are looking for a candidate that is energetic, personable and has experience serving and managing in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position starting at $25.00/hour with potential to move to salary and qualify for our benefits package. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements and skill sets:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years working as a supervisor/Assistant Manager in hospitality
- 4+ years serving in a fast-paced environment
- Open availability
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with all online platform apps (Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, DoorDash)
- Familiar with POS systems and payment terminals
- Knowledge of food and bar beverages
- Experience with online reservation systems (Open Table)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Manage FOH Staff in services where the FOH manager is not on location
- Assist the FOH manager with admin work
- Maintain cleanliness of storefront
- Answer phone and place takeout orders
- Re-stock storefront items
- Prepare and pack large wholesale and personal online orders
- Engage with guests and talk about Parallel's products
