Senior Data Reliability Engineering Specialist - Morgan Stanley

Lead critical regulatory functions at Morgan Stanley as a Senior Data Reliability Engineering Specialist. Oversee production management and regulatory reporting to ensure operational excellence. This senior role demands strong ownership of end-to-end delivery in Finance and Regulatory Reporting platforms. You will manage day-to-day production tasks, ensure data quality, and lead efforts to rectify operational risks. By partnering with key stakeholders, you will enhance efficiency and manage critical regulatory timelines. Key Responsibilities:

• Own regulatory and reporting processes from beginning to end
• Lead daily management of production, including incident responses
• Identify and rectify operational risks and control weaknesses
• Collaborate with Finance Controllers for filing accuracy and completeness
• Deliver executive updates on risks, issues, and milestones

Requirements:

• 6+ years in regulatory and production management
• Experience with Unix, SQL, Autosys, and Jira
• Familiar with SRE principles and troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills for leadership presentations
• Knowledge of Python, Snowflake, Azure, or Databricks a plus
