Infrastructure Integrated Product Team Lead

We’re seeking an experienced and results‑driven professional to support the Land Vehicle Crew Training System (LVCTS) project, pending contract award. The LVCTS project will deliver advanced simulation and training solutions to the Canadian Army across five sites: Edmonton, Alberta; Shilo, Manitoba; Petawawa, Ontario; Valcartier, Quebec; and Gagetown, New Brunswick. The role of Infrastructure Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead requires oversight of a cross‑functional team to manage subcontractor performance, ensuring successful design, construction, furnishing, and commissioning of these sites while meeting the highest standards of quality, cost control, and schedule adherence.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional team of customer, supplier, and internal Raytheon representatives.
- Develop and execute the Infrastructure IPT’s objectives aligned with contract scope and technical specifications, managing cost, schedule, and performance for all deliverables within the IPT charter.
- Oversee subcontractor management for design, construction, furnishing, and commissioning of five LVCTS sites at Canadian Forces Base locations.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, costs, and quality requirements of the prime contract.
- Foster collaboration and communication across IPTs and the overarching Plenary IPT to ensure program execution.
- Ensure on‑time delivery of all customer and subcontractor deliverables per contract and data requirements.
- Hold and facilitate regular design reviews, subcontractor performance reviews, and customer meetings.
- Implement a progress tracking method that identifies risks and opportunities for LVCTS Program Management.
- Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and tools to estimate and communicate specific work scope remaining on responsible contract requirements.
- Track IPT progress against the plan, control costs, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Prepare IPT status reports, cost estimates, and documentation; communicate with stakeholders, management, and team members.
- Identify technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, safety codes, industry regulations, and all applicable legal aspects.
- Ensure team members comply with Raytheon Environmental, Health and Safety program and receive the necessary instruction, training, and supervision to work safely.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or Business Law (or equivalent training and experience).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, contracts, or subcontracts, with experience managing high‑value infrastructure and construction subcontracts.
- Strong expertise in project management, particularly in cost control, scheduling, technical performance, and reporting.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or near completion of certification.
- Successful candidate must complete RTX EVM certification immediately after hire.
- Exceptional leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills to balance varying priorities and drive program success.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Teams, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
- Experience in managing projects within the defence or aerospace sector is an asset.
- Familiarity with Department of National Defence/Public Services and Procurement Canada and knowledge of Canadian government procurement processes and regulations are an asset.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Willingness to travel as required to support business needs, supplier engagement, and program activities.
- Candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: 101,500CAD – 151,500CAD.

- Eligibility for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on position level and collective‑bargaining agreement status.
