The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting its second annual North Shore Daffodil Dash. This family fun event is looking for active, organized volunteers to join our team to make this event a success! A successful committee member is skilled in areas such as marketing, sponsorship, participant recruitment, logistics, and volunteer coordination. With the guidance and support of past committee members and staff partners at the Canadian Cancer Society, the committee will plan and execute this engaging event.
We are looking for people with strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in planning and coordinating event logistics, networking skills, sales and fundraising skills, as well as an ability to meet deadlines and multitask. Volunteers are critical to our accomplishments and we wouldn’t be able to support, inform and empower those touched by cancer without you.
Registration Coordinator
The Registration Coordinator will work with the event’s staff partner to familiarize themselves with Convio (the online registration and fundraising platform the event will be using) so assistance can be provided as required to participants. This individual will also organize processes and planning of event day registration and participant sign in, including cash management and deposit, and will ensure accurate data entry of any offline transactions.
