Allied Universal is seeking a Casual Professional Security Guard in Halton , Ontario. 

Job Title : Security Guard  

Job Location : Halton, ON

Job Type : Casual

Pay Rate : $ 20.00 per hour 

Shifts : Sundays to Saturdays / Various Casual Shifts

*Must have a vehicle*

*Wide availability for Day Shifts is required*

Requirement :

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm  .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for upto 24 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid Full G driver's license is a must.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
