Director of Data Engineering at CPP Investments

Join CPP Investments as the Director of Data Engineering, driving data strategies across public and private market investments. Lead and innovate with a focus on AWS data platforms and enterprise data products. In this senior role, you will oversee the public markets and alternate assets data engineering team, guiding the end-to-end lifecycle of market data products. You'll partner closely with business-aligned product teams and lead a talented group in delivering high-quality, AI-ready data solutions to inform investment decisions. Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute a multi-year data engineering strategy
Own AWS data platform architecture for ingestion and governance
Lead development of enterprise market data products
Establish semantic capabilities using RDF and Amazon Neptune
Ensure secure and timely data delivery through automated controls

Requirements:

10+ years in data engineering or data platforms
5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
Advanced AWS architecture expertise
Strong understanding of capital markets and data governance
Excellent communication and leadership skills
