The Stores Expeditor is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and expediting aircraft parts, materials, and repair orders to support daily maintenance operations and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the support departments and Production, customers, and external carriers to ensure material availability, timely delivery, and effective communication throughout the supply chain process.
What you will be responsible for
- Track, monitor, and expedite aircraft parts, materials, and repair orders to ensure timely availability and delivery in support of operational requirements, with a focus on identifying and prioritizing urgent shipments impacting production
- Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for material expediting requests and operational material inquiries across Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, Warehouse Operations, and Production departments
- Provide regular status updates on material availability, delays, and expedited shipments to Operations Management, Purchasing, and Warehouse leadership
- Coordinate with freight carriers, including FedEx and other transportation providers, to resolve shipment holds, delivery delays, and transportation issues
- Attend customer and operational meetings to provide material status updates, anticipated delivery timelines, and feedback on critical requirements
- Coordinate and prioritize AOG material requirements, ensuring urgent parts are expedited and delivered to the production floor as required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material status, shipment tracking, repair orders, and expediting activities
- Coordinate repair order activities between customers, vendors, internal departments, and AAR teams to support timely processing and completion
- Escalate material shortages, delivery concerns, and critical supply chain issues to appropriate stakeholders to minimize operational impact
- Actively participate in AAR Windsor’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understands and promotes the company safety policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, material handling, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Knowledge of inventory control, transportation processes, and material flow within a manufacturing or aviation environment
- Must have the ability to qualify for a receiving stamp and dangerous good shipping certification
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management or ERP systems is considered an asset

Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $22.23 per hour. Upon successful completion of training and certification as a Receiver, the hourly rate will increase to $25.12. The salary progression range for this role is $25.12 to $29.00 per hour. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
