Build Python data pipelines and full-stack applications as an Analysis Software Engineer II in Morrisville, North Carolina. Support scientific research at UL Research Institutes.This role develops software for Chemical Insights’ research into chemicals and risks to human health. You will define specifications, modify applications, and create scalable solutions from complex scientific requirements. The work includes data science tools, web technologies, and collaborative project delivery.Key Responsibilities:
Build Python pipelines for scientific data ingestion and validationDevelop web applications and REST APIs for data curationIntegrate databases, laboratory systems, and scientific data sourcesWrite unit and integration tests for durable applicationsDocument systems and assist internal scientists and engineersRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree and four years of full-stack experienceOr master’s degree and two years of full-stack experienceProficiency with Python data-science libraries and web frameworksExperience with cloud services and PostgreSQL databasesOnline application development experience in scientific researchApply full-stack development, Python, REST APIs, and data science to advance Chemical Insights research at UL.
