Empower lung health initiatives as the Director of Data and IT Operations at the Lung Health Foundation in Toronto. Drive strategy and operations in a hybrid role focused on impactful data governance. As the strategic leader for LHF’s IT and data management, this position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a key role in developing a centralized lung health data hub. Oversee IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance with health data regulations. This leadership position will help enhance how data informs decision-making processes organization-wide. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of a centralized health data hub
- Supervise IT staff and ensure infrastructure security
- Implement data governance and privacy protocols
- Collaborate with vendors to maintain IT operations
- Guide digital transformation and system improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s preferred
- 8+ years of leadership experience in IT or data environments
- Familiar with cloud technologies and data management tools
- Knowledge of PHIPA and health data privacy standards
- Excellent project management and communication skills
