Drive sustainability initiatives with FortisBC as a Corporate Sustainability Advisor in Surrey, BC. Support GHG accounting, stakeholder engagement, and process improvements in this full-time role.
At FortisBC, the corporate sustainability team is seeking an experienced advisor to further our decarbonization and sustainability goals. You will play a crucial role in performance measurement and sustainability reporting, offering insights while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help foster a culture of awareness and commitment to sustainability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support sustainability strategy and GHG accounting initiatives
• Collaborate for data-driven decision-making across departments
• Develop communications for internal and external stakeholders
• Champion stakeholder engagement and best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in sustainability or related field
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting and GHG accounting
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Proven ability to build relationships and manage priorities
