Senior Estimator for Regional Contractor

Join a respected main contractor as a Senior Estimator, based in Oxford. Focus on managing pricing strategies while mentoring junior estimators for project tenders across diverse sectors. This role in pre-construction involves working with an established team on high-value projects, including healthcare and commercial developments. You'll be crucial in ensuring tenders are prepared accurately, fostering collaboration with various internal departments. You'll also play a key role in developing the skills of junior staff through effective mentorship. Key Responsibilities: • Directly manage tenders from conception to completion • Price construction projects accurately from first principles • Collaborate with bid managers and design teams • Mentor junior members of the estimating team • Ensure tender accuracy for projects valuing up to £30 million Requirements: • Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in main contracting • Familiar with both single and two-stage tendering processes • Experience with JCT and NEC contract forms • Reside within commuting distance to Southampton • Must have the full right to work in the UK Utilize your expertise while building a strong foundation with a reputable contractor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
