Controls Engineering Manager at Nordion

Lead the Controls Engineering team at Nordion, ensuring safe and compliant operations of control systems. This managerial role focuses on team leadership, project management, and continuous improvement. As the Controls Engineering Manager, you will oversee a skilled team of engineers and specialists. Your responsibilities encompass people leadership, external vendor management, and driving revenue growth. Collaborate with customers to shape the Controls System Roadmap aligning with both operational goals and innovation strategies. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead internal and external engineering teams effectively
• Manage contracts, budgets, and external resources
• Develop structure and talent for the engineering team
• Drive service revenue and identify growth opportunities
• Engage stakeholders to align projects with strategic objectives Requirements:
• Engineering degree with P.Eng designation
• Minimum 3 years managing Technicians and Controls Engineers
• At least 10 years in controls engineering
• 8 years of leadership experience
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs Enhance Nordion's engineering capabilities while delivering successful projects on time and budget.
