Hello! We’re a family in Petawawa, Ontario looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible part-time nanny to help care for our two school-aged boys. Our primary need is help getting the boys to and from school and caring for them on weekdays when both parents are working in the office. Mom works a hybrid schedule, while Dad works full-time from the office, so the number of hours and days may vary somewhat from week to week. We would also like someone who is occasionally available in the evenings and who can provide overnight care for the boys when we are travelling. Because of this, we’re hoping to find someone interested in developing an ongoing relationship with our family rather than simply providing occasional babysitting. Responsibilities would primarily include:

• School drop-off and pick-up
• Before- and/or after-school care as required
• Preparing meals or snacks for the boys
• Evening childcare on occasion
• Occasional overnight care when both parents are away
• Helping maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment for the boys

Reliability and flexibility are very important to us. Having a valid driver’s licence and being comfortable transporting the boys is also important for the role.
