Control Systems Technician at Newmont

This remote role involves supporting industrial control systems in a challenging mining environment. Newmont is hiring Control Systems Technicians with strong technical skills for their Brucejack site. Candidates should have experience in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial control systems in mining and heavy industry. Additional responsibilities include working with DCS/SCADA platforms and interpreting technical documentation to ensure optimal operations. Key Responsibilities:

Support and maintain industrial control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in processing operations
Operate DCS/SCADA platforms like DeltaV and ControlLogix
Read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics
Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure safety

Requirements:

Engineering degree or relevant trade certification
Hands-on experience with DCS/SCADA platforms
Ability to work in extreme environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Familiarity with industrial networks and protocols
