Lead AI Engineer with FICO

Transform software solutions as a Lead AI Engineer on FICO’s Applied AI team. Design, build, and maintain groundbreaking AI-powered applications focused on reliability and responsible governance. FICO seeks a Senior Engineer to develop production-grade systems leveraging LLMs, agent SDKs, and AI frameworks. Your work will integrate critical functions in fraud investigation, decision automation, and customer communications. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will emphasize innovation through applied AI expertise and solid software engineering skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Design AI systems with LLM workflows and RAG pipelines
- Convert product requirements into actionable technical designs
- Build evaluation frameworks for quality and safety measures
- Deliver AI feature capabilities and communicate results
- Fine-tune foundation models based on product needs
- Over 5 years in software engineering, with 1+ in LLM applications
- Proven track record of deploying AI features in production
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and modern AI frameworks
- Strong understanding of LLM behavior and model adaptation
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field
