BBA Consultants
Drive impactful structural engineering projects at BBA. We seek an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to design creative solutions in the mining, energy, and natural resources sectors. In this regular position, you will lead complex structural projects from concept through to construction.
Your role includes providing mentorship to junior engineers, conducting technical analysis, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will also contribute to business development efforts and proposal preparations, ensuring technical excellence and cost-effective strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering projects in challenging environments
- Oversee design and analysis for industrial structures
- Mentor junior engineers and designers for skill development
- Collaborate with clients and contractors on project needs
- Prepare engineering drawings and technical reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience

- Proficient in structural design software like SAP2000
- Familiarity with Canadian building codes and standards
