Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills in a hands-on environment while gaining valuable experience in the cabinet spraying industry. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals, learning essential techniques and processes related to preparation, staining, spraying, and sanding cabinets for installation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly of preparing new and refinishing of cabinets for painting/staining.
- Learn and apply skills for cabinet products for application, uses and tolerances, and product knowledge for the right application for its intended use.
- Operate various sanding machines and tools to help with production efficiency to help produce superior finishes.
- Develop skills that can be applied in shop and onsite.
- Develop colour theory in stain matching and customizing finishes for new innovation on cabinet finishes.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production processes.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
