Principal Ai Platform Developer

Define Autodesk’s agentic AI platform from Toronto or remotely in Ontario, using MCP, orchestration, and production machine-learning systems expertise.As Principal MCP/AI Developer, you will set technical direction for Viewer MCP and its production-grade agentic platform. You will shape tool models, context, memory, retrieval, trust, and evaluation across Visualization Solutions. The work requires hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, and distributed systems.Key Responsibilities:
Define MCP capability models and agent-orchestration architectureEstablish evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, latency, and costSet platform-wide standards for traceability and human oversightLead cross-team initiatives spanning products and servicesMentor senior engineers and influence technical decisionsRequirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience8–12+ years of software engineering experienceProduction experience with LLMs, agents, orchestration, and RAGExpert TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern web technology proficiencyExperience leading initiatives without direct authorityBring MCP, AI evaluation, distributed architecture, and technical leadership to Autodesk’s evolving visualization platform in Canada.
