Civil Infrastructure Project Manager

Lead civil and linear infrastructure delivery from planning through commissioning in Chatham, Ontario. Bring AutoCAD Map, Civil 3D, and construction expertise to Operations.As Project Manager, Operations (Roads), you will oversee municipal projects supporting rights-of-way, roads, drainage, streetlighting, traffic signals, and related infrastructure. The permanent full-time position covers design, approvals, procurement, construction, inspection, and transition to maintenance. It also requires technical guidance, budget monitoring, public engagement, and coordination with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and agencies.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare preliminary and detailed civil infrastructure designsDevelop project estimates, schedules, specifications, and tender documentsMonitor scope, budgets, schedules, and Key Performance IndicatorsCoordinate field inspections, payment certificates, and quality controlFacilitate public, committee, and Council meetings as requiredRequirements:
Four to six years managing linear infrastructure projectsEngineering or related Engineering Technology educationKnowledge of financial modelling and activity-based costingUnderstanding of provincial, municipal, and federal legislationValid Ontario Class G or higher driver’s licenceUse civil design, construction management, and regulatory knowledge to deliver essential infrastructure projects for Chatham-Kent.
