Take on a leadership role in Medical Imaging at Chilliwack General and Fraser Canyon Hospitals. This pivotal position involves coordinating imaging services and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration. As the Local Department Head of Medical Imaging, your leadership will impact operations in both hospitals. Reporting to the Regional Department Head, the role requires at least two years of healthcare leadership experience and a commitment to enhancing patient care through innovative medical education. You will be central to navigating complex changes within healthcare organizations and leading initiatives that meet broader health service goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate Medical Imaging functions
- Participate in the Multidisciplinary Healthcare Coordinating Committee meetings
- Lead changes to support health service programs
- Develop creative models for patient care delivery
- Communicate effectively through presentations and reports
- Valid CPSBC license and healthcare leadership expertise
- Experience with planning and operational initiatives
- Solid grasp of strategic service delivery concepts
- Proven communication skills in senior roles
- Active medical imaging practice required
