Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of casual Clerk at our Food Store location in Smeaton, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Serve guests, pack groceries, stock products, face shelves, and dispense fuel and propane.
- Maintain a clean department; clean shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keep aisles free of debris.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, and lottery.
- Operate point of sale system to process sales.
- Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).

Who You Are:
- Willing and able to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications.
- Attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, working both inside and outside, standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
