Thomson Reuters Senior Software Engineer, AI

Drive AI innovation as a Senior Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters. This hybrid role focuses on developing scalable AI-driven features for transformative solutions in Toronto. In your position, you'll work with the Corporates Tax and Trade team to create, implement, and monitor AI and Machine Learning models. You will collaborate across departments to ensure successful integration of AI technologies into our products, positively influencing how professionals utilize information. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI features with senior guidance
- Write and maintain Python code in the software lifecycle
- Optimize model performance and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with data scientists on proof-of-concept models
- Participate in documentation and technical discussions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related areas
- Minimum 1 year of professional software experience
- Experience with AI/ML model deployment
- Proficiency in Python; other languages are a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
