Mining M&A Corporate Counsel

Mining transactions and commercial agreements define this M&A Counsel assignment with Axiom, supporting a leading mining client in a lean environment.This experienced in-house counsel will provide practical legal support across mining transactions, commercial agreements, M&A, and securities matters. The work involves close collaboration with legal and business stakeholders. Independent matter management helps transactions and strategic initiatives move forward.Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate mining-related commercial agreementsHandle joint ventures, NSR royalty, and offtake agreementsSupport small-scale North American M&A transactionsProvide legal support for corporate and securities mattersManage matters independently with minimal supervisionRequirements:
Meaningful in-house legal experience with a mining companyHands-on experience with mining transactions and commercial arrangementsExperience supporting M&A, joint venture, royalty, or offtake mattersFamiliarity with public-company and securities mattersLicensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdictionApply mining-sector counsel experience to M&A, commercial agreements, securities matters, and independently managed transactions through Axiom.
