Qui êtes-vous ?

• Vous avez des compétences en ingénierie conceptuelle et vous travaillez en vue d'obtenir un diplôme en génie de la construction, civil ou mécanique.


• Vous êtes passionné(e) par le travail dans un environnement de construction. Toute expérience antérieure dans le domaine de la construction est considérée comme un atout.


• Vous avez la volonté et l'énergie nécessaires pour obtenir des résultats.


• Vous avez des compétences marquées en matière de communication.


• Vous avez un esprit analytique rigoureux et une capacité naturelle à résoudre les problèmes.

Ce que vous ferez.

Vous serez exposé(e) à de multiples facettes de la gestion de projets de construction et aiderez les chargés de projet dans leurs tâches quotidiennes en mettant en œuvre le plan de projet pour la livraison de bout en bout des projets. Veuillez noter que le stage se déroule directement au chantier.

Plus précisément, voici comment vous contribuerez à notre équipe: 

• Suivi et contrôle des échéanciers ;


• Préparer des relevés de quantité ;


• Participer aux rencontres de coordination de début de travaux avec les sous-traitants ;


• Assurer le transfert des informations au chantier pour une bonne coordination et compréhension des intentions du design ;


• Faire le suivi des modifications auprès du chantier et des sous-traitants ;


• Assurer le classement électronique des documents des projets en cours ;


• Faire le suivi et le contrôle des dessins, dessins d’atelier, plans, instructions pour le site, déficiences, etc. ;


• Effectuer des inspections et des contrôles qualité ;


• Suivi des correctifs et des déficiences ;


• Autres tâches connexes variées liées au département de gestion de projets.

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER INTERN

Who are you?

• You have conceptual engineering expertise working towards a degree or diploma in a Civil, Mechanical or Construction Engineering.


• You have a passion for working in a construction environment. Any prior experience in construction is considered and an asset.


• You have the drive and energy to achieve results.


• You have exceptional communication skills.


• You have a rigorous analytical mind with a natural problem-solving ability.


• You have the ability and confidence to implement change.


• You thrive in a team environment.


• You are bilingual (English and French).


• Completion of the ASP Construction Safety course is required.

What you’ll do.

You will be exposed to multiple facets of construction project management and will assist the Project Managers with day-to-day tasks in implementing the project plan for end-to-end delivery of projects. Please note that the internship takes place directly at the construction site.

Specifically, here is how you will contribute to our team:

Monitoring and control schedule;

• Do quantity take-off;


• Participate in coordination meetings with subcontractors at start of work;


• Ensure transfer of information to site for proper coordination and understanding of design intent;


• Follow up on modifications with site and subcontractors;


• Ensure electronic filing of current project documents;


• Follow-up and control drawings, shop drawings, plans, site instructions, deficiencies, etc.


• Perform inspections and quality controls;


• Follow-up on corrective actions and deficiencies;


• Other various related tasks linked to the Project Management Department.
