General Maintenance and Delivery Associate

Job Responsibility:
Job Overview Fiddleheads Health & Nutrition has five locations in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge and is in need of a General Maintenance and Delivery Associate. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment. The General Maintenance worker will be involved in heavy lifting, moving equipment, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality across all five store locations.
- Pick up and deliver supplies between stores using the company vehicle.
- Purchase necessary products from Costco, and GT French twice a week using the company credit card.
- Assist with organizing transferred items as per freezer, fridge and dry boxes, informing floor or smoothie bar staff of where they are located
- Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained and clean as well as filed with gas
- Ensure all receipts are clearly labeled and submitted daily
- Complete other tasks as assigned to support store operations.
- Notifying Owners of equipment issues so that they can get maintenance done
- Submitting a log of daily activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed.
- A valid driving license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving between multiple locations daily
- Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
- Criminal Record Check is required
