Own conversational AI quality for patient assessments as a Senior AI/ML Engineer, working remotely in Canada during North American hours.At Limbic, you will lead AI for a clinical assessment product serving US healthcare organizations. You will work with product, engineering, and clinical colleagues, collaborating with the ML team in London. The system gathers histories, administers PHQ-9 and GAD-7, detects risk, and recommends treatment programs.Key Responsibilities:
Own conversational assessment quality and clinical prediction accuracyImprove safety checks for patient messages and AI repliesProductionize machine learning models optimizing product KPIsBuild evaluation harnesses and simulated patient conversationsMaintain labelled transcript review before patient exposureRequirements:
PhD plus two years, or degree plus four yearsProductizing LLM features and eval-driven development expertiseExpert Python and TypeScript or JavaScript proficiencyExperience building LLM agent harnesses and reinforcement learningScalable machine learning architecture and cloud experienceApply clinical AI engineering, evaluation, safety, and architecture expertise to improve mental healthcare access through Limbic.
