Security Terminal Ambassador – Winnipeg International Airport
Allied Universal is seeking professional and motivated Security Terminal Ambassadors to join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba , supporting the Winnipeg Airport Authority contract.
This role is ideal for individuals who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced 24/7 airport environment. The successful candidate will support airport operations, respond to incidents, maintain situational awareness, and follow established security procedures and Government of Canada protocols.
Position Details
Location: Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $16.96/hour
Schedule: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off – Rotating Days & Nights
DayShift : 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM / Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Security Licence: Not required
Security Clearance Requirement
Applicants must have resided continuously in Canada for a minimum of five (5) years to meet the applicable security clearance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily security operations within the airport.
- Monitor security systems and maintain situational awareness.
- Respond to incidents and coordinate emergency communications.
- Follow all established security procedures and Government of Canada protocols.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to passengers, airport employees, and stakeholders.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
- Remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Cross-train and provide support in other Level 1 positions as required.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English .
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a valid RAIC .
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays .
- Previous security experience is an asset.
- First Aid/CPR, post-secondary education, and a second language are assets.
