Cambrian Credit Union is seeking Wealth & Advisory Sales & Support Specialist . As a crucial member of our Wealth & Advisory Services Team, you play an integral role in consistently delivering high quality support while ensuring that Cambrian’s reputation of professional wealth expertise is maintained in all interactions working directly with members and our partner Aviso Wealth.

The Wealth & Advisory Sales & Support Specialist consistently delivers high quality support within the Wealth & Advisory Services department, while ensuring that Cambrian’s reputation of professional wealth expertise is maintained in all interactions working directly with members and our partner, Aviso Wealth. The position will encompass, back up for the Supervisor Wealth & Advisory Services and Manager, Wealth & Advisory Services, key administrative and sales focused activities to support with the execution of continued sales growth, and basic member servicing while supporting the advisory team to deliver members with an exceptional investment & planning experience.

In the role of Wealth & Advisory Sales & Support Specialist, you will :

• Provide support to the Aviso Wealth Mutual Fund and Investment Division advisory team while working in close collaboration with and accepting direction from the Supervisor, Manager & Vice-President, Wealth & Advisory Services.


• Act as the primary liaison with Aviso Wealth in monitoring and performing administrative and sales activities, including but not limited to transfers; PAC; SWP; EFT; KYC updates as permitted and income plans.


• Effectively use the Online Service Management & CSM tracking system.


• Lead Special Projects in support of Cambrian growth strategies, as identified by the Manager or Vice-President, Wealth & Advisory Services.


• Provide advisory team support with effective management of client accounts requiring basic sales and administrative servicing.


• Lead the direct communication with members to facilitate and book annual review meetings, including KYC renewals and realignment of client portfolios within all Cambrian’s wealth offerings.


• Maintain strong working proficiency with Aviso system platforms; specifically, Dataphile, eAdvisor and Advisor and Investor Portals.


• Effectively manage assigned direct member sales & administrative campaigns, including but not limited to the management of existing Cambrian deposits, while soliciting and consolidating non-Cambrian deposits through appropriate referral within the Wealth & Advisory Services team.


• Support the Cambrian service delivery network with administrative wealth inquiries and referrals.


• Consistently deliver high-quality & timely communication to clients using the Wealth Management Support Team contact.


• Maintain current scanning & uploading within electronic client files.


• Provide ongoing support to the Supervisor, Manager & Vice-President, Wealth & Advisory Services with internal reporting including various sales & referral tracking and reporting.


• Remain current with basic comprehension of NEI Investments and Private Wealth Portfolio Solutions.


• Assist and support the Supervisor, Manager and Vice-President, Wealth & Advisory Services as required (e.g. undertake projects, tasks or duties as assigned).

Your Education & Experience:

•  Minimum education level of Grade 12 or equivalent, with post-secondary education considered an asset. 


•  Minimum two years demonstrated proficiency in retail financial services, including Wealth Management services would be an asset. 


•  Canadian Securities Course (CSC) licensing in good standing, or ability to become licensed within 3 months. 


•  Proficient in PC applications of Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. 


•  Creative thinker/ problem solver, with a member-centred approach and strong drive to continuously improve and add value to the business. 


•  Ability to work well in an environment with multiple and often changing priorities.
