Nanny Wanted - Occasional Mother’s Helper Needed In Hamilton, On

Hello! We are a warm and welcoming family in the area of West Hamilton Mountain looking for an occasional mother's helper to support us approximately 5-7 times per month. Our family includes a toddler and a newborn. My husband works 24-hour shifts, so we are looking for someone to help on the days he is working. There may also be occasions when he is called in for overtime, so we'd love to find someone who has some flexibility and may be available on short notice when possible. This is not a nanny position where you'll be caring for the children independently — I will be home with you. We are simply looking for an extra set of hands during the busiest part of the day. Most shifts will be scheduled in advance and will usually be in the afternoon and evening (approximately 12:00/3:... p.m. to 8:00 p.m., though this may vary slightly). Responsibilities include:

• Helping with our toddler and newborn alongside me
• Assisting with dinner, bath time, and bedtime routines
• Playing with and engaging our toddler while I care for the baby (or vice versa)
• Bottle preparation and basic baby care as needed
• Light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying toys, washing children's dishes, folding children's laundry, or wiping down the high chair

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Experienced with infants and/or toddlers
• Kind, patient, dependable, and proactive
• Comfortable working as part of a team with a parent at home
• CPR/First Aid certified (preferred)
• Able to provide references
