We are seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing valuation practice. As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will lead complex valuation engagements, oversee client relationships, and contribute directly to the development of both our people and our practice. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact, providing autonomy to drive new business initiatives, cultivate client partnerships, and help position Aspen as a trusted market leader.

You will work closely with firm leadership to influence Aspen’s strategic direction, mentor the next generation of professionals, and integrate technology and data-driven innovation into our valuation work.

What you’ll do

• Oversee and manage valuation engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring high-quality, defensible analyses and reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developing trusted relationships and providing clear, actionable insights.
• Supervise and mentor team members, fostering technical growth and professional development.
• Review financial models, valuation analyses, and deliverables prepared by the team.
• Contribute to business development, including preparing proposals, participating in client pitches, and identifying new service opportunities.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to enhance valuation methodologies, processes, and technology-driven solutions.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; graduate degree an asset.
• 5–10 years of experience in business valuation, transaction advisory, or related financial advisory work.
• Strong knowledge of valuation standards and methodologies (income, market, and asset-based approaches).
• CBV designation strongly preferred ; CFA, CPA, or equivalent credentials considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple engagements, manage teams, and meet client deadlines.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; exposure to automation or coding tools (Python, R, SQL, VBA) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex valuation concepts clearly.
