Contract Project Operator - Fractionation

Position Purpose

The Contract Project Operator provides field‑level operational support for brownfield project work inside a live NGL fractionation facilit y, ensuring construction, tie‑ins, outages, and commissioning activities are executed safely and aligned with Operations. This role acts as the operations representative for multiple concurrent work scopes and protects the fractionation facility during all phases of execution

• p.Build, verify, and execut e LOTO packages and system isolatio ns in accordance with site isolation and first‑break standard
• s.Issue and coordinat e safe work permi ts and maintain daily alignment with Operations on all active work front
• s.Walk down scopes, review drawings, confirm field conditions, and identify operational risks before work begin
• s.Plan and organiz e tie‑ins, outages, and system transitio ns with the Operations Project Coordinator, ensuring minimal impact to fractionation operation
• s.Coordinate daily activities with construction, maintenance, engineering, and other site groups to avoid conflicts and maintain safe executio
• n.Suppor t commissioning and start up of new or modified fractionation equipment and ensure clean turnover to Operation
• s.Assist with priority operational and maintenance tasks when project workload is lo
• w.Maintain accurate communication, documentation, and prioritization across multiple concurrent scope
• s.Adjust to dynamic schedules, extended hours, and occasional night‑shift coverage during outage windows

Qualificati

• onsMinim um 4th Class Power Engineer ing certificate; higher tickets considered an ass
• et.Experience working in NGL fractionation syst ems (paraffins, olefins, condensate, de‑ethanizers, de‑propanizers, de‑butanizers, or simila
• r).Demonstrated ability to build LOTO packages, perform complex isolations, and manage safe work permits in a live NGL facili
• ty.Strong understanding of fractionation process syst ems and ability to troubleshoot operational issu
