The Industrial Electrician position is responsible for keeping production running smoothly and efficiently by ensuring all equipment remains in safe working condition. The role focuses on minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and prompt repairs, working within a collaborative manufacturing environment where innovation and expertise drive success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems, wiring, switchgear, transformers, motors, and control devices.
• Work with advanced technologies including PLCs, VFDs, motor control centers, industrial instrumentation, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs, test electrical equipment for continuity, voltage, and resistance, and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instrumentation and automation equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors, lead project teams when required, and perform other duties to support continuous production and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

• Licenses: 433A Industrial Mechanic and 442A Industrial Electrician (required).
• Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing, with knowledge of high-speed packaging machinery.
• Skills: Proficient in electronic controls, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and more.
• Bonus: Hands-on experience with labeling, filling, and packaging equipment.
• A can-do attitude and above-average communication skills!
