Staffmax is assisting our client in the Winnipeg, MB area for a hands on  Carpenter in a growing custom home builder specializing in high-end, design-driven residential projects. We are committed to quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong relationships with our clients and trades.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with residential experience and a strong eye for detail. In this role, you will focus on the final stages of construction, ensuring all finishing work meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install trim, baseboards, casings, crown moulding, and millwork
• Hang and adjust doors, including hardware
• Install cabinetry, shelving, and built-ins
• Complete finishing work on staircases, railings, and mantels
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Maintain quality standards and meet project timelines
• Keep a clean and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with site teams and project managers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finish carpentry experience (residential preferred)
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and materials
• Ability to read construction drawings
• High attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
