Senior Power Systems Engineer

Apply power system analysis and electrical design expertise as a Senior Power Systems Engineer supporting industrial and commercial customers across Canada.Schneider Electric seeks a senior engineer with at least five years of power engineering studies or electrical design experience. You will assess distribution systems, develop improvement proposals, and support safer, more reliable, economical electrical solutions. The work includes customer site engagement, sustainability-focused microgrid upgrades, and technical project support.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze protection coordination, short circuits, arc flash, and power flowEvaluate findings and prepare recommendations, reports, and mitigation solutionsDesign medium- and low-voltage distribution system improvementsMeet customers onsite and identify electrical needsProvide cost estimates, bid proposals, and technical supportRequirements:
Minimum five years in power studies or electrical designExperience with industrial or commercial projectsKnowledge of PTW, ETAP, EasyPower, or CYMEP.Eng. license or registration as an EITStrong communication skills with customers and technical teamsBring power system studies, electrical design, and customer communication skills to Schneider Electric projects across Canada.
