QA Tester for Software Quality Assurance

Join the Safety Codes Council as a QA Tester, ensuring software quality and reliability. As part of the Information Technology team, the QA Tester will validate applications, manage the testing lifecycle, and enhance testing processes. This role requires proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen software reliability and operational stability for the Council’s services. Key Responsibilities:

• Validate applications and identify defects early
• Execute comprehensive manual and automated tests
• Collaborate with developers and product managers
• Lead user acceptance testing; manage feedback
• Create test strategies and maintain defect reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing lifecycle
• Proficient with SQL and automated testing frameworks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
