Prairie Valley School Division
Under the direction of the school administrator for all day-to-day operations and the Caretaking Manager for all technical components, the caretaker is responsible for providing a safe, clean and healthy environment for students, staff and the public and overseeing day to day building operations, working as part of both the school-specific and Division-wide Facilities teams.
What will make you successful:Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Interest in obtaining or the completion of:
o WHMIS training.
o Fireman's Certificate.
Minimum 3 years caretaking experience.
Knowledge and ability to safely monitor and reset a boiler and associated+ HVAC system.
Ability to safely operate floor cleaning, stripping and waxing equipment and outdoor equipment such as snow blowers and lawnmowers.
Ability to perform basic building maintenance and repair functions.
Ability to manage confidential material and maintain staff and student privacy. What you can expect:
Hourly rate range: $22.91- $26.79.

Hours of work are 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 12 months per year.
