Senior Automation Project Engineer
BBA Consultants
Automation and control engineering leadership await in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean with BBA, combining project management and industrial client support.As a Senior Automation Engineer and Project Manager, you will lead engineering mandates for aluminium, mining, metals, and energy clients. Your work spans automation, instrumentation, control system design, technical writing, and client development. You will contribute to engineering and site activities while selecting technologies and proposing practical solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, lead, and oversee automation and control projectsManage colleagues’ discipline-related work and support office developmentPrepare engineering deliverables, reports, specifications, and tender documentsSelect instruments and control valves for industrial applicationsSupport construction, inspections, surveys, and control-system programmingRequirements:
Undergraduate degree in automated production or electrical engineeringAt least four years of relevant engineering experienceExperience designing automation and control systemsKnowledge of the Canadian Electrical CodeAvailability for assignments at client locations or sitesApply automation, instrumentation, project management, and technical writing expertise to BBA’s industrial mandates in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
