Packing Specialist

Job Summary :As a Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for packing food produce into boxes as per specified menus or lists, ensuring proper quality and quantity control.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack food produce into boxes according to provided lists and menus.
• Inspect the quality and quantity of food items to ensure they meet Foodfund's high standards.
• Place packed boxes onto skids and ensure they are properly arranged.
• Ensure the integrity of each package, confirming that the proper quantities and items are packed in each box.
• Maintain an organized and clean packing area.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to productivity and safety standards.
• Adhere to food safety protocols and regulations throughout the packing process.
• Report any discrepancies, issues, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Consistent and reliable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed during the packing process.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
