Hatch is seeking a  Geotechnical Engineering Student  for an internship starting  Fall 2026 . Reporting to the Geotechnical team, you will support offices globally working from our  Calgary, Alberta  office location.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Working closely with our engineers, geoscientists, and designers, your primary role will be to act as a technical resource on challenging projects.
• You will apply analytical, conceptual, research, and planning skills to support geotechnical investigations, geological characterization, and geotechnical design and analysis.
• Candidates will be exposed to modern design tools, including 3D modeling, geotechnical analysis, and complex calculation software.
• Work closely with experienced professional engineers and geoscientists who will provide guidance and mentoring. 
• You will gain experience in a variety of technical areas.

• Pursuing a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

• Technical proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
