Full-Time Community Worker at PQCHC
Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre
Join Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre as a Community Worker to support youth programs and outreach initiatives. This temporary full-time role emphasizes leadership development and civic engagement. As a Community Worker, you will actively engage with youth and create programs that address their needs. Candidates should have a background in youth education or outreach, with proven facilitation and organizational skills. This position includes travel and flexible hours to better accommodate community events. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop community programs aligning with PQCHC’s mission
- Implement and evaluate youth-focused workshops
- Engage with stakeholders to build community partnerships
- Ensure documentation for program activities is complete
- Provide crisis intervention strategies with supervision
- Must be an ACB candidate
- Related degree or diploma in community services
- Experience in program planning and leadership training
- Strong fluency in English; other languages are a plus
- Willingness to work evening and weekend hours
