Investment Analyst at BDC Venture Capital

Join BDC as an Investment Analyst in the Venture Capital sector and play a key role in shaping investment strategies. Collaborate with innovators and analyze market trends to boost Canadian entrepreneurship.
In this role, you will support the management of BDC’s investment portfolio through thorough evaluations of investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have proven analytical skills, enabling them to create financial forecasts and assessment reports. Engaging with entrepreneurs and stakeholders will be integral to your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate new investments and perform due diligence
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Interface with entrepreneurs and prepare communication materials
• Monitor and analyze investment portfolio performance
• Assist in preparing financial forecasts and reports
Requirements:
• Three years of experience in venture capital or finance
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Strong networking skills and industry relationships
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
