Legal Counsel For Aecon Infrastructure

Aecon is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support its utility construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with project teams to evaluate legal and commercial risks, negotiate important agreements, and deliver clear, solutions-focused advice. Your expertise will be crucial from bid preparation to project closeout, ensuring all legal guidelines are met.
Key Responsibilities: - Review and negotiate construction and project agreements - Provide legal advice on procurement and employment matters - Manage external counsel on claims and disputes - Prepare contract templates for project teams - Assist in risk identification and contract training
Requirements: - Law Society member with 3-7 years of experience - Knowledge of construction and contract law - Experience in litigation management - Ability to draft various legal documents - Understanding of construction industry practices
