Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant

Revelstoke Transfers is Revelstoke's premier passenger transportation service. We are proud to offer airport shuttle, private car and local shuttle services for groups and individuals travelling locally and throughout the region.
Shade Sails and Revelstoke Transfers are looking to hire a part-time bookkeeper and administrative assistant to join our friendly and professional team.
Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Office 365 and basic accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Controller and work closely to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Handling phone calls, emails and other correspondence
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Expense tracking by accurately recording financial transactions
- Coding receipts and payments
- Preparation of Bank Deposits
- Full cycle bookkeeping including A/R, A/P, and Invoicing Processing
- Billing and payment application (bank deposits may be required)
- Ordering office supplies and coordinating equipment maintenance to ensure a efficient workplace
- Maintaining and organizing files, records and documents
- Assisting with various office duties
- Providing support and assisting the team with tasks

Education and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role with Bookkeeping and Administrative duties preferred.
- Recognized Bookkeeping designation preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Solid knowledge of basic accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Capable of working with others in a team environment.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Resourceful and flexible.
