Senior Loan Underwriting Manager at BDC

Become the Senior Manager for Underwriting at BDC and engage in strategic loan proposal analysis and team development. This role is available in various BC locations. As the Senior Manager, Underwriting, you'll conduct thorough investigations and ensure high standards in proposal quality at BDC. Your role will involve negotiating loan structures, mentoring new team members, and maintaining compliance with internal policies. Bringing innovative solutions and excellent credit analysis skills will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence for loan proposals of varying complexities
- Negotiate proposal details with business partners
- Address compliance changes during negotiations
- Foster partnerships to meet organizational objectives
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 3 to 5 years of underwriting experience
- Proven track record in corporate financing
- Strong analytical and credit judgment skills
- Bilingualism in French and English is preferable
