Lead underground operations at Agnico Eagle with the Assistant General Supervisor role. Engage in comprehensive planning and ensure safety and efficiency in a Fly-In Fly-Out work environment. As the Assistant General Supervisor for the Underground Mine, you will oversee the performance and safety of all underground activities. This position requires robust leadership, operational alignment with KPI goals, and effective collaboration with departments like Maintenance, Engineering, and Geology. Your responsibilities include data analysis, project monitoring, and continuous improvement of processes to enhance operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the execution of the 3-shift plan for underground operations
• Review production data to identify variances and implement corrective actions
• Supervise Mine Intelligence and Mine Control Center activities
• Mentor team members to achieve departmental and personal goals
• Promote safety practices and develop best procedures Requirements:
• 5–6 years of mining experience
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in a multicultural environment
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills Elevate underground operations through strong leadership, effective planning, and commitment to safety at Agnico Eagle.
