Registered Practical Nurse (FLOAT)

Job Responsibility:
```Duties```- Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospitals.- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing.- Assist with case management and coordination of patient care.
```Experience```- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Practical Nurse in various healthcare settings.- Experience working with children and providing pediatric care is highly desirable.- Familiarity with acute care settings and the ability to handle emergency situations.- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safe medication practices.- Experience in case management and coordinating patient care across different healthcare providers.
Qualifications:- Valid Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license.- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.- CPR certification required.- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound judgments.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
