Reporting to the Managing Counsel, you will engage in M&A activities, contract administration, and resolve disputes. Strong skills in risk assessment and communication are essential for success in this intricate legal landscape. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate M&A transactions and negotiations
- Draft and review software license and maintenance contracts
- Oversee dispute resolution processes
- Manage outside counsel on privacy and security issues
- Assist in corporate development initiatives
- 2-4 years of corporate legal experience in software
- Member in good standing with Law Society of Ontario
- Proven M&A transaction expertise
- Ability to adapt priorities in fast-paced settings
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
