Live-in Nanny Needed (Temporary) | Gibsons, BC $20-25/hour (negotiable) private accommodation We're a friendly family in Gibsons looking for a compassionate, reliable live-in nanny to help care for our 9-month-old daughter while Mom recovers from a broken leg. This is a temporary position, and we're hoping to find someone who enjoys working with infants and is happy to be part of our daily routine. About us Family of three (plus one very friendly dog!) 9-month-old daughter with a consistent nap schedule Dad works remotely from home and is available to help throughout the day Mom is home but has limited mobility during recovery What you'll be doing Your primary responsibility is caring for our daughter, including: Engaging in age-appropriate play and developmental activities Feeding bottles and solids Diaper changes and getting her down for naps Keeping her play areas tidy You'll also help with light household tasks such as: Tidying the kitchen and common areas Baby laundry Occasional dog care (letting our dog out or short walks if comfortable) General day-to-day upkeep, not deep cleaning What we're looking for Experience caring for infants (around 6 to 18 months preferred) Warm, patient, and dependable Comfortable living in our home CPR/First Aid is an asset References required Compensation & living arrangements $20-25/hour (negotiable based on experience) Private bedroom provided Flexible schedule to be discussed Temporary role, with the expected duration based on Mom's recovery If you're interested, send us a short introduction about yourself, your childcare experience, your availability, and any relevant references.
