What You'll Do

• Perform routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) using only natural and eco-friendly cleaning products, ensuring a healthy environment for clients and reducing environmental impact.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas.
• Maintain floors, windows, walls, and furniture with care and attention to detail.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables following company and environmental policies, including proper sorting of recyclables, minimizing waste, using reusable materials when possible, and adhering to local waste management regulations.
• Provide personalized service by communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.

Employees must follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment while actively contributing to sustainable and eco-conscious cleaning practices, including:

• Proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and masks when necessary.
• Ensuring proper ventilation in enclosed spaces to maintain air quality and comfort, even though only natural and eco-friendly cleaning products are used.
• Adhering to workplace safety regulations to minimize risks.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

For luxury rental properties , employees will be expected to handle all aspects of property turnover to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. Prior experience in hospitality or Airbnb turnovers is a plus, even though training is provided. Employees will be responsible for:

• Stripping beds, washing linens, and making beds to a high standard.
• Folding and putting away linens.
• Replacing and restocking paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels.
• Refilling soaps, shampoos, and other provided toiletries.
• Staging the space to ensure a welcoming and polished presentation for guests.
• Cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces like door handles, light switches, and remotes.
• Checking for and reporting any property damages or missing items.
• Ensuring kitchen appliances are cleaned, maintained, and properly arranged.
• Taking out trash and recyclables while following waste disposal regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in residential and/or commercial cleaning is a plus but not required —we provide paid training!
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to clean efficiently.

• Cleaning supplies, equipment, and a fully stocked cleaning kit is provided upon hire with a c ompany cordless Dyson vacuum rental for each cleaner.
• Peachy Clean-branded shirts are supplied as part of your uniform, with uniform reimbursements provided for approved uniform work shoe purchases.

Job Requirements:

• We are looking to hire someone for a seasonal position starting on May 1st, 2025 , primarily for luxury rental cleaning. Paid training will start as soon as possible, and employment may begin earlier through expedited training.
• Average workdays will be between 4-8 hours , but hours are not guaranteed as they depend on client demand. Schedules are assigned on a weekly basis, with shifts primarily based on client bookings. Employee schedules are available online, up to a year in advance, with real-time updates through our booking system. Employees are also able to request unpaid time off as needed for personal events for approval by management. Employees should expect a mix of scheduled shifts and on-call availability, particularly for last-minute rental turnovers. Please note that this is not considered a full-time position due to the physically demanding nature of the work—we prioritize health and wellness and do not want employees to experience burnout. However, employees may request more hours if they prefer an increased workload.
• We are looking for dedicated employees who want room to grow within the company. Hardworking team members have the opportunity to advance into leadership roles, take on additional responsibilities, and contribute to the long-term success of Peachy Clean.
• A valid Ontario driver's license and a personal vehicle are required , as public transportation is not available in our area.
• Employees may need to travel up to an hour to a client's location. Mileage will be reimbursed accordingly.
• Applicants must be able to pass a vulnerable sector background check , which is reimbursed by Peachy Clean.
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM as needed, with flexible scheduling options.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in client interactions.
• We are specifically looking for applicants from Kincardine, Port Elgin, Southampton, Goderich , and Walkerton/Hanover .
